About Ferske Smakar
Ferske Smakar did not start in Førde. The story begins in 2011 in a small basement at Noss, in what was then Gaular municipality. In 2013 they bought Napoleon Conditori at Handelshuset in Førde, and in 2020 the business moved to the unit by the entrance to Øyrane Senter, where it is today.
The team is named on their own page, which is unusual: managing director Anette Hestad Stave is a master baker and confectioner, and alongside her are pastry chef Gudrun Johanne Eikeland and cooks Silje Bjørge Rysjedal and Hilde Aa.
Prices are published, and the menu changes with the season. Canapés cost 45 kroner, half a bread roll 40 and open sandwiches 70, with a minimum order of ten per type. The summer tapas menu carries an explicit date: it runs from 1 June to 31 August 2026. Most cakes and canapés can be made gluten-free and lactose-free for a surcharge.
