About Erketunet Gardsbakeri
The outlet at Alti is the town version of a genuine farm bakery. The origin is the basement of the farmhouse in Gjesdalen at Vassenden, where the sole proprietorship is still registered. The limited company was formed in 2024, and that is when they opened the outlet on the first floor of Alti Førde.
What sets this bakery apart from the others in town is the flour. They bake on Norwegian organic, stone-milled flour from Holli Mølle, with old grains such as emmer, spelt and landkveite — little yeast and a long prove.
No prices are published, and the bakery does not yet have a finished website; erketunet.no only shows that it is under development. Note too that Erketunet AS, which runs a restaurant at Elvevegen 11, is an entirely separate and independent company — not the same as the farm bakery.
